About this course
Essential for surf lifesavers, dive professionals, pool lifeguards, industrial rescue squads, and event medics. Learn high-flow medical oxygen administration, oropharyngeal airways (OPA), bag-valve-mask (BVM) two-rescuer resuscitation, and maintenance of medical oxygen therapy equipment.
What you’ll learn
- Assemble, check and operate medical oxygen therapy cylinders & regulators
- Deliver oxygen using nasal cannula, non-rebreather masks and resuscitation circuits
- Insert Oropharyngeal Airways (OPA) and perform airway suctioning
- Execute 2-rescuer BVM ventilations in cardiac arrest
